Lavish Looks works mainly on custom units, all made to order, since no ready-made units are kept on hand. Every custom unit and color service starts with a consultation, and bookings without one are cancelled. Custom wig inquiries are sent by email or text and should include hair texture, desired color, length and preferred style. Orders should be placed before a wig install is scheduled: one week ahead for hair, and two weeks ahead for custom color.

Units come in lengths from 12 to 30 inches and in bodywave, straight, deepwave, Burmese curly and loose wave textures. Closures are offered in 2x4, 5x5 and 6x6 sizes, and frontals in 13x4 and 13x6. Lace frontal units are not currently offered. Custom units start at $550, and pricing depends on length and hair color. The business prefers to use its own hair for units and color work.

Half the total is due at the consultation, and the balance is due at pick-up. Payment must be made in full before a unit is released. Clients have 48 hours to collect a unit after being notified it is ready. Units are picked up only at the salon, as there is no delivery or shipping. Turnaround is 14 business days, excluding weekends and holidays, and can be shorter depending on workload. A rush fee applies if a unit is needed sooner, and the request must be made in the message. Lavish Looks corrects any unit problem that is its own mistake.

Every service includes a wash, so clients should not wash their hair beforehand. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to book, and it is applied to the total. Remaining balances are paid by Zelle or cash only, and payments must come directly from the client; Cash App, Venmo and third-party payments are not accepted. Kids' hair services are priced the same as adult services. Children and extra guests are not allowed during appointments unless they are being serviced. Only services listed on the booking site are offered, and braiding is not among them.

Changes to a booking need planning. Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours ahead and must be completed through the confirmation email. Changes or cancellations within 48 hours carry a 50% service charge, and appointments within 24 hours cannot be changed. Appointments more than 30 minutes late are cancelled and the deposit is forfeited, and a $15 late fee applies after 15 minutes. Style changes cannot be accommodated during an appointment because of time limits. Clients are advised to allow extra travel time, since nearby roads can be congested.
