Lash Wellness Lab

Lash Wellness Lab is a lash extension and lash lift salon in Chelsea. Its founder, Aya, started the salon to offer lash services that are personalized to each client.

Extension options include classic single-set applications and 2D or hybrid defined volume sets, in cashmere lashes or with LED curing. The salon describes its cashmere lashes as the highest-quality option, surpassing sable. Each set is shaped during a consultation by length, curl and thickness, and a set can use up to 100 extensions per eye depending on natural lash count, condition and the look wanted. Touch-up sessions are available within four to six weeks to keep the look.

Extensions are applied with a Japanese technique the salon describes as free of stinging and tearing, using lightweight materials sourced from Japan. For LED sets, a rapid-dry glue is cured at the point of application with a Lash Plus LED light. The light is aimed only at the bonding point, with the eyes closed and protective patches on the lower lid, and each lash is flash-cured for about one to two seconds, for roughly five to eight minutes of intermittent exposure per eye. The LED device is rated Risk Group 0 under IEC 62471, according to the salon.

First-time clients have removal of extensions from another salon included. Returning clients who book a keratin lash lift within six weeks receive 20% off maintenance pricing, or 10% from six to eight weeks, applied automatically at checkout. Clients can reach the salon by text at (646) 543-8554. Hours are 9 am to 7 pm Tuesday through Thursday and 10 am to 7 pm Friday through Monday.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of an appointment incur a 50% fee, and no-shows are charged the full service fee. During Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday periods, cancellations made within two weeks, up to the day of, are charged the full fee. Late arrivals receive fewer lashes so the set fits the remaining time, with no price adjustment. Lash lifts cannot be performed if the client does not arrive at the scheduled time. Completed services are non-refundable and issues must be raised within 48 hours; refunds are not given for design preference, natural lash condition or change of mind. Lashes should be kept dry for about six hours after treatment, avoiding showers, swimming and sweating.

The salon prioritizes the health of natural lashes and aims for results with the least damage. Each set is customized during consultation.
