The natural lash menu adds lash lifts, lash tints, a combined lift and tint, and removal of extensions, whether they were applied at Lash Cosmo or somewhere else. Before a lash extension appointment, clients are asked to skip eye makeup and to avoid oil-based moisturizers on the lashes or near the eyes. Afterward, the lashes should stay dry for at least 24 hours, steam and spa facials are best avoided for a while, and cleansing should use oil-free, water-based gel or foaming products. Oil-based eye makeup removers, rubbing the eyes and pulling at extensions are not recommended at home. Some natural shedding is normal, and growth serums and makeup can be used on extensions. Both locations are open Monday to Friday from 9 to 6 and Saturday from 9 to 5, and are closed Sunday. Bethesda has metered street parking in front of the salon, paid through the Park Mobile app, and the St Elmo Public Garage at 4935 St Elmo Ave is free on weekends. Bethesda Metro Station is about 0.8 miles away.
