The studio's aim is to help clients look and feel effortlessly put together, with soft, natural enhancements that bring out their own features, build confidence and keep routines simple. Its stated values are care, craft, clarity and confidence. Before any service, the studio talks through a custom consultation and listens first before recommending anything.

Lash extensions are custom-mapped in classic, hybrid or volume styles and fitted to eye shape and the fullness a client wants. A Custom Lash Set is a full set starting at $180 and takes about two hours. Most extension clients return every two to three weeks for a fill, and a standard fill for up to three weeks costs $90. Clients who already have lashes from another artist can book a foreign fill for $120, subject to consultation. Lash lift and tint, a tint on natural lashes and lash removal are also offered.

Makeup is custom for special occasions, from soft glam to full glam, and can include an optional strip lash; it starts at $120. Bridal work includes a trial session for $150, where the timeline is planned and the look is tested before the big day, and full bridal makeup is booked by email. Spray tans come as a standard version rinsed after 8 to 12 hours or a rapid rinse version rinsed after 2 to 5 hours, both with a finishing powder and customized to undertone and depth. Teeth whitening is a non-invasive 20-minute session with aftercare guidance. Waxing and brow services use gentle wax, and brow tinting matches the client's tone.

Visits follow a few house rules: a credit card is kept on file for all appointments, clients should arrive five minutes early, and appointments more than 15 minutes late are cancelled automatically. Cancellations need at least 24 hours notice by text to avoid a fee. Spray tan clients are asked to wear loose clothing and prepare 24 to 48 hours ahead. Clients under 18 need a parent present to sign the consent form at the first visit. Cash is preferred, and cards are accepted. Free parking is right outside Shear Instincts.
