Laser hair removal is performed with a Candela GentleYAG Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser, which the clinic chose for darker skin and says suits Fitzpatrick skin types IV to VI. Treatment is calibrated to each client's skin and hair. A typical course runs about six sessions per area, with hormonal hair possibly needing more and maintenance sessions in some plans. Blonde and very fine hair can be treated but may need more sessions, while white or gray hair cannot be treated with laser and is referred to electrolysis. Sessions take about 15 minutes per area, and the clinic describes results as a lasting reduction rather than permanent removal. Between sessions, shaving is fine, but waxing and tweezing are not recommended during a laser plan.
