About

Laser Focus is a laser hair removal business in Florence, Kentucky. Treatments are carried out by a nurse practitioner and registered nurses, and the business offers laser hair removal across a long list of body areas, from the upper lip and underarms to the back and full legs.

According to the business, its treatments are painless. It uses the Motus AZ, an Alexandrite laser at 755nm. The business says the device is FDA approved and suitable for every skin tone, and it notes that clients with darker skin may need fewer treatments to see effective results. The business treats brown, black, and dark red hair; lighter shades such as light red, blonde, gray, or white hair may see only limited reduction.

Before a first treatment, clients can book a free consultation with the nurse practitioner, by phone, online, or in person. The business also confirms on the day of a first treatment that the client is a suitable candidate, free of charge. Treatments usually take about 10 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the area and how many areas are treated.

Pricing has two parts. Single touch up sessions are listed from $50 for small areas such as the areolas, with larger areas such as full legs listed at $450. Eight-treatment packages are listed from $400 for smaller areas and up to $2,600 for full legs. Package totals are due at the first appointment. Clients who have bought a package receive 50% off the listed touch up price, and buying one package gives 25% off remaining packages of equal or lesser value. The business does not offer lifetime packages, and it says its packages offer better value than corporate chain lifetime packages. All sales are final, though unused services stay as credit on the client's account.

The business recommends at least one touch up per year to keep results, and says that after eight treatments most clients have at least 80% permanent hair reduction, with results varying from person to person. eGift cards are available in $25, $50, $100, $250, or custom amounts, and a newsletter signup gives notice of treatment specials.

The business presents laser hair removal as a painless option with a nurse-led consultation before the first treatment.
