About

Laser Flavor has two locations. The Atlanta studio is on Howell Mill Road in a building connected to an apartment building and offers the full menu. The Marietta location is in the 2470 Suites building on Windy Hill Road, where you enter, take the first left and walk to Suite 155, and it offers laser hair removal only.

Every new laser hair removal client starts with a consultation. It takes about 10 minutes, costs $25 and includes a test spot. If you buy a package through the website within 90 days, the consultation fee is credited toward it.

Hair removal uses ND:YAG and diode lasers. Most plans run 6 to 12 treatments depending on the area and skin tone, and darker skin tones usually need more sessions. Sessions are spaced every 6, 7 or 8 weeks and should not be booked sooner than 6 weeks apart unless a practitioner instructs otherwise. The salon states its machines are suitable for all skin types and tones. Hair that is white, grey, blonde, strawberry blonde or red cannot be treated with this laser.

Laser hair removal is performed by Georgia Medical Board licensed cosmetic laser practitioners, according to the salon. Tattoo removal uses a Q-switched ND:YAG laser, is performed by a Medical Board licensed laser practitioner, and typically takes 4 to 12 sessions spaced 8 to 12 weeks apart. Each session lasts a few minutes depending on the size of the tattoo.

Before hair removal, shave the area 24 hours ahead and avoid waxing, plucking or threading for 6 weeks. Before tattoo removal, shave the day before and avoid sun and spray tanning beforehand. The site advises clients who develop blistering after hair removal to apply an antibiotic and contact the salon right away. Appointments are booked through an online scheduling page, or you can call 770-299-3114 (Marietta and Atlanta share this number) or the toll-free line 1-844-655-2737.

Treatments begin with a consultation and test spot, and are carried out by licensed practitioners with set pre-treatment steps.
