The business treats its work with a two-laser system, using the Candela GentleMax Pro Plus, which combines an alexandrite laser and an Nd:YAG laser in one machine. The alexandrite wavelength is used for fair to medium skin tones and fine, light or stubborn hair, while the Nd:YAG wavelength is used for medium to deep skin tones and coarse, deeply rooted hair. A dynamic cooling device releases cryogen onto the skin just before each pulse. A visit starts with a complimentary consultation that covers a skin assessment, a hair assessment, a patch test where it is appropriate, and a written session plan with pricing. First-time clients can try the Complimentary Introduction, in which a small area of their choice is treated at no charge, with no package or deposit required. Full body sessions usually run 45 minutes to an hour, while small areas such as the upper lip or chin take only a few minutes. Topical lidocaine is available for sensitive areas for an added fee.

Results are described as permanent hair reduction rather than permanent hair removal. The site states that most clients see a 70 to 90 percent reduction in hair density over a full course. Most areas need six to eight sessions, and hormonally influenced areas such as the chin and jaw may need more plus occasional maintenance. Face and underarm sessions are spaced four to six weeks apart, and body areas six to eight weeks apart; coming in sooner does not speed things up. Grey and white hair do not respond to the laser.

Before a session, clients shave the area 12 to 24 hours ahead and stop waxing, plucking, threading and epilating four weeks before. Sun exposure and self-tanner should be avoided for two weeks, and the skin should be clean and free of lotion, deodorant or makeup. Mild redness and swelling around follicles for a few hours afterward is expected. Direct sun, hot tubs, saunas and strenuous exercise are to be avoided for a day or two, and retinoids and exfoliants should be skipped on the treated area for a few days. Treatment is not suitable for everyone, including those who have recently taken isotretinoin, are pregnant, have an active infection or open skin in the area, or have a recent sunburn, and suitability is assessed at consultation.

Each client receives a personalized assessment of skin tone, hair type and goals, and treatment plans are written around each client's skin type, hair and growth cycle rather than a standard chart.
