Treatment plans are built around each client's skin type, hair texture, growth pattern and hormonal factors. Before treatment, clients are walked through what to expect, how many sessions they may need and why results take time. A free consultation is offered before any treatment, and a patch test is done before a first session. Laser sessions run from a few minutes for small areas such as the upper lip to about an hour for larger ones, and electrolysis sessions run from 10 minutes up to an hour.

Laser treatments use a Lumenis Diode LightSheer system, which the salon describes as FDA-cleared and which has a built-in cooling system to protect the skin during treatment. The salon says the device is effective on darker, coarser hair across a range of skin tones. Laser works best on dark hair, while electrolysis, performed with an Apilus XCell system, works on all hair colors, including blonde. Most laser clients need six to eight sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart, and laser hair removal is not permanent, so occasional touch-ups may be needed. Clients are asked to shave the area about a day before laser treatment and to avoid waxing, plucking and sun exposure beforehand. The practice is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, and consultations can be booked through the website.
