Visits begin with a free consultation of about 15 minutes, where clients can bring inspiration photos. Laney builds a longer hair care plan with clients and checks in during the year to see whether the hair still suits them and whether they want changes. New guests fill out a form so the right services and time can be booked. Appointments average about three hours and can run up to five for a full transformation. Clean hair is preferred for color services.

The menu covers blowouts, clipper and short cuts, dry cuts, full haircuts with a wash and at-home styling tips, grey coverage and express grey coverage, mini highlights, color melts, partial and full highlights or balayage, and gloss and tone maintenance. Bridal styling is offered in-salon only during the November through March off season and does not include a hair wash. Returning haircut clients receive complimentary bang or face frame trims between cuts.

Cancellations or changes should be made at least 48 hours ahead. Clients who cancel on shorter notice may be charged 50 percent of the service total, and no-shows are charged 50 percent of the booked total. Sales are final, though adjustments may be offered at the stylist's discretion within 7 days of the first appointment. Booking means agreeing to these policies. Free wi-fi is available, and street parking runs along both sides of the road nearby, payable by phone through the Parking Kitty app.
