Lala Lashes Charlotte was established in 2013 in the Dilworth area of Charlotte and later moved to its current suite on Pineville Matthews Road in South Charlotte. The salon says Elevate Magazine named it Best in the City each year from 2014 through 2024, and SouthPark Life featured the studio in May 2017. Owner Charryse Rankin joined the team as a team member and bought the business within its first year.

Lash extensions are the studio's core service. Classic, hybrid and volume styles are offered. Each extension is individually applied to a single natural lash with a medical grade adhesive, and nothing is placed on the skin or eyelid. Premium mink sets come as a Lala Lashes full set, an Ooh Lala full set, or a Wow Ooh Lala volume set. Touch-ups every two to four weeks are recommended to maintain the extensions, and lash removal is available. A lash lift lifts and curls natural lashes, lasts up to eight weeks, and can be combined with tinting.

Brow services include shaping with threading and waxing, tinting, and permanent makeup for the brows, eyes and lips. Permanent brow work is discussed with each client before the appointment so it fits their existing brows and preferences. The first permanent makeup touch-up within six months is free; later touch-ups start at $100. Skincare and facial services are provided by a licensed esthetician, and mobile services are available on request.

Booking is by phone or text. New lash clients are asked for a holding deposit. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and shorter notice may be charged 50% of the service price. Late arrivals receive a shorter service time and may be asked to reschedule or pay a $50 late fee or full service fees, depending on how late they are. Arriving about 10 minutes early is suggested, especially for first-time clients who need to complete paperwork. Hours are Tuesday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The studio also runs lash training and continuing education classes, in groups or one-on-one. The salon describes its hands-on training as offering state-approved continuing education hours. Certification details and course completion requirements are confirmed by contacting the salon directly. Retail products and cosmetics are sold on site.
