Eyelash work is a major part of the studio. Xtreme Lashes semi-permanent extensions are applied one by one to each natural lash, and the studio says a certified Xtreme Lashes Lash Stylist does the application. Options include classic, hybrid, volume and corner sets, with a partial corner set added to existing lashes. A full set takes about 120 to 150 minutes and touch-ups about 45 to 60 minutes. The studio recommends a touch-up every two to four weeks, and treats a fill as a new set when it is four weeks or more out or when less than 25 percent of the lashes remain. Professional removal of a full set takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Lash tints, lash lifts and lash lift with tint are also offered, and the studio says its eyelash services are guaranteed.
Brow and permanent makeup services include microblading, ombre powder brows, and liners and lips. Microblading is done with a manual disposable hand tool rather than a machine, using iron oxide pigments that fade over time. The pigment color is matched to the client's brow hair color rather than current hair color and is chosen together with the client. The first microblading visit takes about 2 hours and includes a consultation on brow shape and color, and the touch-up takes about 1 hour and is included. The touch-up should be booked between five and ten weeks after the first session, with a fee after that window. Clients may book a touch-up for permanent makeup within six weeks for $50. Complete healing takes about six weeks, and clients with an older brow tattoo may be considered after sending a photo if the old tattoo has faded significantly.
Skin and hair removal services round out the menu. The signature facial cleanses, tones and moisturizes, with a mini neck and shoulder massage, and is customized to each client for any skin type. Other facials address acne, anti-aging, and pigmentation, and an organic facial is offered. Microdermabrasion, a microdermabrasion and facial combination and micro needling are also available. The Happy Hour Facial includes a hair shampoo with scalp massage, a blow dry, a cleansing with an organic cleanser, and an exfoliation and honey mask. Waxing covers men, women and eyebrows, using strip wax and strip-less hard wax. The studio says it never double dips its wax sticks, and it recommends waiting three to four weeks after shaving and booking about every six weeks, without shaving in between. A Brazilian wax takes no longer than 10 to 15 minutes. The studio also sells PFB topical anesthetic and ingrown hair product.
Policies ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. A reschedule or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice is charged 50 percent of the booked service, and a no-call, no-show is charged the full booked price. Late arrivals may shorten the appointment, because each appointment time is reserved for one client. Clients are asked to avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before a permanent makeup appointment, to arrive with no makeup on, and to avoid waxing, tinting or tanning for three days before.
