The salon says its focus is on care, expertise and exceeding what clients expect. Prices are starting prices and depend on the stylist's experience, the service time, how much product is used, and the length and condition of the hair. First-time visitors are encouraged to book a consultation, which is free when it runs under 30 minutes. For chemical or color services, clients arrive with clean, dry hair and share their hair services from the past two years, current products and water type. Color correction can take several sessions, and each visit is charged separately.
Services span color, cutting, styling and treatments. Color work includes balayage, lived-in and low-maintenance color, foil highlights, corrective color and grey transition. Cutting covers razor, precision, shag, curly and men's cuts, along with natural hair services. Stylists also offer hair extensions, special occasion styling and makeup application, and some stylists offer makeup services. Haircuts start at $90, short, clipper, buzz or fade cuts at $50, basic blowouts at $55, and a styling lesson at $75. Curling iron styling is an extra $20 per visit and must be requested when booking. Weddings and special occasions are handled by email, and the salon can travel to clients or host them at the salon.
Online booking runs through the Gloss Genius portal, which also sells packages and gift cards. A credit card is needed to reserve, and some services may require a deposit. Cancellations or changes need 48 hours' notice; later changes incur a fee of 50 percent of the service, and a missed appointment with no contact is charged the full service amount to the card on file. Services are not refunded, and concerns must be raised by phone within 7 days. Salon products can be exchanged or taken as store credit within 14 days, while hair extensions and gift cards are final sale. The salon accepts card or cash and prefers gratuity in cash or Venmo. Davines, EVO, Sebastian and Cult + King products can be ordered online for local shipping only, and shipments outside New England are arranged by email or phone.
