La Isla Bonita Aesthetics is a woman-owned studio on the fourth floor of a building on Lowell Street in downtown Peabody. The business describes itself as a beauty salon, though most of its work centers on brows, lips and permanent makeup. Its stated mission is to enhance natural features with precision and care, through treatments personalized to each client.

Brow services include waxing, tweezing and trimming for a shaped brow, brow lamination with a pH-balanced, keratin-infused solution that sets brow hairs for several weeks, and a custom-blended tint or stain that colors both brow hair and skin. Airbrush brows apply a fine mist of pigment for a more even skin stain. Lip work includes lip blush, which shades in color that can be kept subtle or made more vivid, and lip neutralization, which uses corrective pigments for lips with cool, dark or uneven coloring and may take several sessions. Permanent makeup covers microblading, powder brows, ombre brows and microshading, with the style and technique chosen around each client's skin and daily routine.

The studio is open by appointment, with hours on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 8pm and on Saturday from 9am to 4pm. Booking is handled through Vagaro. Clients who arrive ten minutes or more late may need to reschedule, and late clients are asked to text the studio ahead of time. Waxing, brow, lash and vajacial services allow one courtesy cancellation or reschedule with 24 hours' notice, and permanent makeup allows one courtesy reschedule with the same notice. Changes made within 24 hours carry a new non-refundable deposit, facial services and services priced at $100 or more canceled within 24 hours carry a $50 fee, and no-call no-shows are charged the full service total. Guests and children are not permitted. Permanent makeup has a list of medical contraindications, and some conditions require a doctor's note. Clients are asked to share allergies, injuries, disabilities or pregnancy with their esthetician before treatment.

The studio states it has clear walkways, reachable seating and adjustable electric treatment beds. Clients who need accommodations are asked to contact the studio before booking, and the studio says it does not tolerate harassment, hate speech or discriminatory behavior.
