Nail work is a large part of the menu. Manicures and pedicures range from polish-only visits to longer spa sessions with exfoliation, massage and a choice of polish, and the hand service price varies by technician. Light Concept Nails are a light-cured resin enhancement; the salon describes the system as 100% acrylic free and hypoallergenic, says it does not yellow, is flexible and needs fewer repairs. Fills are offered at two, three and four weeks. Cuticles are trimmed only when loose or hanging, and nurturing cuticle oil goes on with every manicure. Children can book manicures from ages 2 to 12 and pedicures from ages 3 to 11.

Skin care includes express, European, acne management, anti-aging, rosacea, men's, back and dermaplaning facials, plus a pumpkin peel that combines enzymes and AHAs with vitamins and antioxidants. Pevonia products are part of the line. The Luring Facial and Massage Combination is a 90-minute visit with a customized facial and a full-body massage given by two therapists, booked by phone. Massage options include relaxation, aromatherapy with custom-selected essential oils, deep tissue and a prenatal massage for expectant mothers. For prenatal sessions the salon asks clients to share any pre-existing conditions, complications and stage of pregnancy, and does not encourage first-trimester visits.

Lash services include lifts, tinting, removal, and classic, hybrid or volume fills and full sets. Fills need at least 40 to 50 percent of extensions still in place and should be booked within two to three weeks, otherwise they are priced as a full set. Waxing covers the face, underarms, arms, body, legs and toes; clients are asked to let hair grow three to four weeks first, and bikini waxing is for female clients only. Appointments can be requested through the website, where new clients also complete an intake form, or booked by phone, which the salon says is the best option. Clients should arrive 15 minutes early, and a 24-hour cancellation notice is required or half the scheduled service is billed. Prices begin at the listed amounts and may change. Hours are Monday and Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Tuesday through Thursday 9 am to 8 pm, with early bird appointments from 6 am Monday through Wednesday. The salon is closed on weekends. The Academy of Excellence offers a 300-hour accelerated nail technician program in Muskego that teaches manicuring, pedicuring and nail art. Classes meet Saturdays and Sundays for nine hours each day and the program can be finished in about 10 weeks. Tuition is $4,900 and includes a class kit with a textbook and supplies. Graduates who complete coursework and pass the final exam are prepared to sit for the Wisconsin nail technician board exam through the Department of Safety and Professional Services. The school describes itself as small with small class sizes and states a 100 percent graduation rate and a 100 percent passing rate on the state board exam.

The salon says it pairs technical skill with services meant to support wellness in body, mind and spirit, and aims for customized care in a calm setting. The owner has said she wanted to hire only people who enjoy the industry and care about the client experience.
