Kyzen Electrolysis Studio

Kyzen Electrolysis Studio, LLC was formerly known as Electrolysis by Britt. The studio is at 9025 Big Horn Blvd., Suite 107 in Elk Grove and is run by its owner, Brittany Graham. Clients come from Elk Grove and throughout Sacramento and nearby communities.

The studio treats unwanted facial hair, hormonal hair growth linked to PCOS and menopause, coarse or curly hair, ingrown hairs, and regrowth after laser treatment, and it offers gender-affirming hair removal. Thermolysis, galvanic, and blend techniques are available, and care is tailored to each client's skin, hair, and goals. Because hair grows in cycles, most people need several sessions, typically spaced over several months to more than a year.

A first visit is a one-hour consultation. It includes a brief medical history, intake paperwork, and an evaluation of skin, hair, and goals. Whatever time remains is used for a short treatment, usually 15 to 20 minutes. Consultations are requested by text message to 916-900-1660 with full name, general availability, the areas to be treated, and whether the client has had electrolysis before. Clients are asked not to call, since text is the fastest way to reach the studio.

A consultation costs $75. Treatment is priced by the hour, starting at $55 for 15 minutes and rising to $130 for one hour and $330 for three hours. The studio does not currently accept insurance payments but is working toward contracts with local insurance providers. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice are charged 50% of the scheduled service.

Clients may apply numbing cream 30 minutes before treatment, provided it is applied before arriving at the studio. For at least 48 hours after treatment, the studio advises avoiding sun exposure, tanning, and heat such as saunas or hot tubs. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9am to 7:30pm, Friday 8am to 4:30pm, and Sunday 8:30am to 7pm, with the studio closed Wednesday and Saturday.
