Kuffed Nails

Kuffed Nails is a nail studio in a suite at 3724 Cypress Creek Parkway in Houston, Texas. The business is open Monday from 9 am to 6 pm, Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to noon, and closed on Sundays. Its legal name is Kuffed Nails LLC.

Nail art is priced in three tiers. Tier 1 covers simple designs such as foil, stickers, stamps, dots, simple lines, blooming gel, spider gel, cat-eye gel and small bling with one to five stones per finger. It takes about 30 minutes and costs $2 per nail or $20 for all ten. Tier 2 adds chrome, croc print, ombre, aura, marble, French, airbrush, intricate lines, color blocking, small 3D pieces, charms and medium stone work with five to fifteen stones per finger. It includes all Tier 1 designs, takes about 45 minutes and costs $3 per nail or $30 for the set. Tier 3 includes everything in the first two tiers plus larger designs, takes about an hour and costs $4 per nail or $40 for the set. Characters, encapsulated art, medium and large 3D pieces, large charms and full bling with 15 or more stones per finger are priced at $10 each as exceptions to Tier 3 pricing.

Outside the nail art tiers, clients can order a custom design based on their own picture or an inspiration photo for $50, taking about an hour. Gel manicures cost $50 and take about 90 minutes. They include cuticle care, a base coat, two coats of color and a top coat. The studio can use rubber base for weak, thin or flexible nails that need protection, or structure gel for longer, more substantial nails.

Full sets start at $55 and take about 90 minutes or more. They include cuticle care, tip application and colored acrylic powder or gel polish with a top coat, and can be shaped in any style using acrylic, polygel or gel X. Refills start at $40, take about 90 minutes or more and cover acrylic, polygel or gel. Refills are offered for sets up to one month old; older sets need a new set. Add-on services start at $5 and take about 15 minutes or more.
