The color menu centers on lived-in color with balayage, offered in mini, half-head and full-head sizes, plus reverse balayage and an express gray root touch-up. The business says its mission is to offer luxury color to busy clients who cannot spend hours in the salon every four to six weeks, and it states that KTBhair color lasts for months. Results may take more than one session.
Extension pricing is set by consultation because the amount of hair varies by client, and the hair is purchased separately from the install. Extensions are removed and fully reinstalled every eight to ten weeks and can last about a year with proper care. K-Tips generally stay in for about three months before removal and reinstallation. Genius wefts can be added one row at a time for volume, or in two to three rows for volume and length.
Before booking, new clients meet with a stylist for an in-person color consultation and share their complete hair history. Making a booking means accepting the salon's policies. Any technical concern needs to be raised within 48 hours of the appointment, and the stylist decides on adjustments, which are made within seven days. New clients, bridal bookings and color transformations may be asked to pay a deposit, which cannot be refunded but counts toward the final bill at checkout. Cancellations require 24 to 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged the full cost of the booked service. Arriving more than 15 minutes late can lead to a shortened appointment or a new time being set.
Coaching is offered as a separate track for stylists, including one-on-one balayage and lived-in color coaching, social media coaching, a 30-day private extension mentorship, and a longer private salon education experience. Salons can also host a class, which gives the host salon tickets for its stylists, social media promotion and other perks. Host-a-class pricing is available on request.
Each extension service is tailored to the condition of the scalp, the health of the client's own hair, invisible blending of added hair, and how well the result holds up over time. The education program is designed to help stylists sharpen their skills.
