Kristina Tringali operates as a one-stylist studio in Fairfax, open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are led by the stylist, who adds treatments as needed and suggests a next appointment at the close of each visit. The studio's guiding idea is that hair can look dimensional and lived-in without frequent salon trips or complicated home routines.

The colour options are organised into three services. Full Custom, also known as Quarterly Girl, suits low-maintenance clients who visit only a few times a year. Each visit opens with a tailored colour plan, which can mix techniques such as highlights, lowlights, babylights, balayage, blending or covering gray, root tapping, root melting and glossing. Clients choose either a trim or a customised treatment to finish. Mini Custom is a maintenance appointment lasting roughly two and a half hours, intended for clients whose colour is already established and who need a refresh. Grey Coverage is designed for clients who come back every four to eight weeks to blend or fully cover gray.

It includes a customized K18 treatment, a haircut and a finished blow-dry. The salon describes it as the most comprehensive color experience it offers. It suits first-time guests, major transformations, and color that has gone five months or more without a refresh.

Haircuts are built around scissor technique. Cut it. Style it. is an hour-long cut that includes shampoo, a scalp massage and a blow-dry style. Scissor over Comb is for short hair above the ear and needs little to no styling afterward, and it comes with complimentary clean-ups between appointments. Rooted Relaxation, a scalp massage treatment, can be added to any service.

Booking policies are set out clearly. Confirmation notices go out four days before each appointment. Cancellations and reschedules need 48 hours' notice; later changes are charged the full service fee to the card on file. Arriving 15 minutes or more after the appointment time counts as a no-show, and a no-show means the full service fee is required before future bookings, with the stylist free to decline future services. If the stylist runs late, the client is not penalized and still receives a full service.
