kR Hair Studio is a small private studio in the Admiral District of West Seattle, run by owner Karen Reid. The studio is open Wednesday through Saturday, and visits are by appointment only.
The studio covers color, cutting and styling. Services include glosses with a blow-dry, single process color, foil and balayage highlights, full color with highlights, and color correction, which is quoted after a consultation held before the service. Haircuts are offered for men and women, and styling options include blowouts, conditioning treatments and special occasion styles.
Prices marked with a plus sign depend on hair length and the scope of the service, so the listed starting prices are a guide. New and existing clients are both welcome. Booking is by phone or text at (206) 636-1027, or by email at krhairseattle@gmail.com. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice; later cancellations are charged 50% of the scheduled services, and no-shows are charged the full amount.
The studio works with color, cuts and styling as one process, shaping each look around the individual client.
