The studio is run by esthetician Rose Phabmysay and works by appointment only. It is open Thursday and Friday mornings, Saturday morning into early afternoon, and Sunday late morning, and is closed Monday through Wednesday.

About

Sugaring uses a paste made of sugar, water and lemon, warmed to about body temperature. Hair is removed in the direction it grows, and the studio says hair as short as about a quarter inch can be removed. Clients are asked to let hair grow about 10 to 14 days first, and to trim anything longer than about an inch and a half before a visit. The studio describes sugaring as a better option than waxing in nearly every way, and says it may lead to long-term hair reduction. Service range runs from eyebrow clean-up and lip work at $10 to $15 to full leg sugaring at $120 for new clients, with a first-time bikini sugaring at $45.

Follow-up appointments are available about a week after a session to catch hairs that surface later, and it can take roughly four to eight visits for growth to come into sync. Tattoo cleanup sugaring, which removes hair before and after a tattoo, starts at $10 for an area about 5 by 5 inches and takes around 30 minutes.

The Zen Facial is a 75-minute service offered on Sundays only for $125, covering cleansing, exfoliation, facial massage and massage of the arms, hands, neck, shoulders and head. A full face sugaring is $80 and takes 75 minutes.

Booking details: a card is kept on file, and cancellations or rescheduling need at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations are charged half the service total, and no-shows are charged the full total. Clients more than 10 minutes late pay a $10 late fee, and clients more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule. Illness cancellations and weather-related changes carry no charge. New clients sign a consent form at check-in. Brazilian and intimate area sugaring is for clients 18 and over, and minors need a parent or guardian present with valid ID. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.

Hair is removed in the direction of growth, and visits are planned around the typical four-to-six-week growth cycle.
