KOSHA was created in 2017 by founder Anastasia Talan, who also developed the studio's own product line. The studio, on Ventura Boulevard, says it pioneered buccal massage in the USA and that it is well known among celebrities, with press and TV features to back that up.

The studio favors massage over standard facials. Treatments work on the muscles, fascia, bone and fat beneath the skin, and the team combines European aesthetics with American standards of care.

Every treatment includes signature massage of the face, decolletage, neck, shoulders and scalp, with elements of lymphatic drainage included. Facials run from a 50-minute Holistic Facial using gua sha, cupping and hands with professional serums and oils, up to the 110-minute Ultimate Lift & Glow, which adds deep cleansing, a custom peel or enzyme mask, LED, vibration therapy and massage with hands, gua sha, reflexology and cups. The 55-minute Buccal Facial at $195 centers on intraoral buccal massage, which the studio says may help with TMJ, jaw tension and puffiness. The 75-minute Clarifying Facial focuses on skin problems through deep cleansing, a gentle peel and extractions, and leaves out in-depth facial massage. The 25-minute Exosome Infusion uses non-invasive microchanneling with a pen, followed by an exosome-infused serum and mask, with optional red light.

Body Balancing comes in 60- or 100-minute sessions, combining intuitive massage with warm towels and essential oils, stretching, an anti-cellulite technique and trigger point therapy. Add-ons include masks, peels, LED therapy, kinesiology taping, sound healing, crystals and aromatherapy.
