Services are by appointment only. New clients can request a consultation, request braids with extensions, or book through the new client page on the website. Pricing is set as all-inclusive session packages, and clients are told the price before any service begins. The price can change if a service uses above-average product or takes more time than usual. Pricing is described as genderless, ageless and non-discriminatory, and the salon welcomes clients of any race, identity, gender or physical attributes.

Loc sessions include a luxury shampoo with a hot oil scalp massage, a hot towel head wrap, essential oils and a complimentary basic style. Clients also receive guidance on at-home maintenance and styling with their services. Loc care follows a restoration-first approach that looks after locs from the ends to the roots. Sessions are grouped by how long it has been since the last maintenance, from a short Touch-Up between visits to Restoration for locs with broken or damaged ends.

Children can book natural braid services from age 4 without extensions, and full braid services from age 8. Beads can be added to a child's braids for $5, or clients can bring their own. An in-salon jewelry box offers accessories and charms for children's braids.

The salon also sells hair care and merchandise online, including a herbal Knerbal Tea Hair Rinse, Oyin Handmade products, a Boing coil styler, Spray N Shine oil, and Knotty Xpressions apparel and drinkware. eGift cards come in $25, $50, $75, $100 or a custom amount. Orders ship by USPS Priority Mail or UPS, usually after 1 to 2 business days. Free shipping applies to orders over $100, and overnight delivery is not offered. Most shop items are made to order, and refunds and exchanges are handled case by case when reported within 7 days of delivery. The salon is also hiring stylists-in-training and trained stylists on part-time and full-time schedules, with a paid training program.
