Kiwi Nails & Spa

Kiwi Nails & Spa was founded in 2014 and has since grown into a team of nail artists, cosmetology technicians and an owner-led crew. The salon says its mission is to raise the standard of nail care by offering a safer, healthier and more welcoming visit.

Every guest receives a personal kit with an emery board, pumice, buffer, toe separators and disposable slippers, and the salon says nothing is reused between clients. Its gel polishes are HEMA-free and TPO-free, and the salon also offers gluten-free, vegan, cruelty-free and 10-18 free options, made with cosmetic-grade ingredients that the salon describes as hypoallergenic. The salon says it uses only natural and organic products in manicures and pedicures.

Nail art is a major focus, with hand-drawn designs, hand-painted work and 3D embellishments, as well as Japanese, Korean-trend and abstract styles. Acrylic services are built with EMA (ethyl methacrylate) and not MMA (methyl methacrylate). Because designs take 20 to 60 minutes, the salon asks clients to send design ideas through Instagram at least one week ahead.

The Nail Bar hosts private parties of at least six guests, including bridal showers, birthday parties and get-togethers with friends. Guests may bring their own wine and drinks to these bookings. The salon says it won Silver Winner in the 2024 and 2025 Philly Favorite Nail Salon awards and Bronze Winner in the 2026 awards.

The salon says its goal is a safer, healthier and more welcoming nail visit, built on single-use guest kits and products it describes as high quality, cruelty-free and non-toxic.
