Hair removal is done with a paste the studio makes from sugar, passion fruit juice and water. Skin brightening sessions take 30 to 45 minutes and are typically booked as a series of three to six, two to four weeks apart. The formulas are hydroquinone-free and described as suitable for all skin tones. Clients are asked to avoid these treatments within 24 to 48 hours of waxing or laser, and pregnant or breastfeeding clients should check first.
Booking and policies: payment is due when services are rendered, services of 45 minutes or more need 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, and shorter services need five hours' notice. No-shows are charged 50 percent of the booked service. A confirmation link arrives within 24 hours of the appointment and must be clicked or the slot may be released. Clients are asked to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early, and those more than 5 minutes late may need to rebook. Topical retinoids or antibiotics should be stopped three months before sugaring and Accutane twelve months before. The La Jolla studio lists hours of Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm, Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm.
