Kiss N' Makeup is a makeup studio founded by Karen Helton Powanda. The studio describes itself as the only beauty studio or salon in Austin focused solely on makeup artistry and natural brow shaping. Its approach centers on enhancing each client's natural features, and clients are encouraged to explore new techniques and products.

The studio works from two Austin locations. The Jefferson St studio is inside Deco Blue Salon, and bookings there are made under Karen @ Deco Blue. The Capital of Texas Hwy studio is inside Valentines at Davenport Village, and bookings there are made under Karen @ Valentines. Appointments are arranged by phone or text at 512-388-1150, or through a request form.

A brow shaping visit is done by hand tweezing and takes about 30 minutes, and clients receive instructions for keeping their brows at home. Men's grooming trims and tweezes the brows without sculpting them, and each new client gets a personalized plan. Makeup lessons run about 1.5 hours: clients bring their current makeup, the artist reviews it with them, and they leave with written step-by-step instructions. A shorter mini lesson covers one or two features in no more than 30 minutes, without the written sheet.

Bridal work has two parts. A Bridal Run-Through, recommended two to three months before the wedding, covers the wedding day plan, how makeup wears over time, and how colors interact with the skin. The Wedding Day Session is the bridal makeup application on the day itself, based on that run-through. Group sessions for girls' nights out or bridal parties are customized makeup applications.

Makeup and bridal services can be booked on location for weddings, photo shoots, special occasions, film and HD TV productions, and educational training. The studio has provided makeup consulting for the KXAN news team, and its work has been featured in Tribeza, Austin Woman and In Style Magazine.
