Visits are booked through the salon's online system, and a booking is confirmed by notification once it is entered correctly, with the confirmation sent closer to the date. New clients book the New Client appointment first, and the stylist advises which returning option to book afterward. Each child needs a separate appointment when several children are booked. The salon is open Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM, and is closed on Sundays.
The salon describes its atmosphere as calm and private, with children's amenities rather than a chain kids' salon feel. Toys are available for children to play with before and after appointments. Children can enjoy treats, video games, and uninterrupted Netflix or YouTube time. Stylists may blow bubbles, sing, dance or play during the cut.
Changes and cancellations must be made through the online booking system at least 3 hours before the appointment, since phone calls, emails and texts are not accepted for cancellations. A cancellation made within 3 hours, or a missed appointment, carries a fee equal to the full price of the reserved service, and that fee must be paid by invoice before another appointment can be booked. Returning clients can use a loyalty card that takes $5 off after five regular-priced haircuts.
Guided by a culture of care, with the aim that each child leaves the chair happy. Children with special needs and sensory issues are welcome, and a longer Extra Love appointment is available for children who need more time or an adult's help to stay still.
