Booking is deposit-based. A $25 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit reserves an appointment, is applied to the final cost, and is forfeited if the appointment is canceled. Appointments cannot be rescheduled, deposits are paid through Cash App, and the confirmation is texted once the deposit clears. Phone consultations run 15 minutes for $25 and require a $15 non-refundable deposit. Chemical services need a signed consent and liability acknowledgment before the appointment, and a $20 charge applies to a color retouch when the hair has not been shampooed, detangled and blow dried beforehand. Shampoo or relaxer services carry a $10 charge when hair is not detangled and free of braids, buns and twists.

Quick weaves and sew-ins require purchasing hair from the stylist. The service is final once applied, and later style changes are charged separately. Clients supply their own black cap or netted cap for these services.

The salon also sells raw hair bundles under the Velvet Tresses Co. label, Pop Out Queen apparel and accessories, satin bonnets and satin edge scarves. A three-hour one-on-one class is offered for $500.
