The color menu covers toner and base breaks, all-over semi-permanent and permanent color, root and bleach touch-ups, color correction and creative shades such as pink, blue, lavender, green and pastel. Highlight work includes partial and full highlights, balayage with ombré and men's highlights. Women's haircuts are a dusting trim or a longer cut for hair below the shoulder, and men's options include short and medium cuts, cuts with a beard trim, gray coverage and perms.

Styling services include a blow-dry with beach curls, special event waves and bridal hairstyles tailored to the wedding theme, dress and personal taste. Women can also book a wave perm for soft, beachy body. A halo extension consultation is available, and extensions are ordered after the consult, made from 100% Remy human hair in a natural body wave, in lengths up to 21 inches.

Booking requires a credit card. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment and no-shows are charged a 50% fee, and services are not refundable or exchangeable. Clients who are not satisfied can contact Kim within 7 days for a complimentary adjustment.

Parking is on the street or in the public lot across from Salon Republic, and there is no basement parking. Clients can reach the studio by text at (310) 926-9727. The salon says it has nearly 400 reviews across Google and Yelp.

Every visit is one-on-one, with styles shaped around each client's hair type, lifestyle and goals. The dusting trim is used on most clients to remove dry, damaged and split ends while keeping length.
