Children's appointments are booked in 15-minute slots, and adult appointments usually take between about half an hour and an hour, depending on what is needed. A parent can book their own appointment at the same time as their child's. Families of children with special needs are asked to let the salon know ahead of time so more time can be set aside, and the stylists say they cut hair for all children, including those with special needs.
The salon offers first haircut certificates and hair locks for a child's first cut. Girls' hair is not washed unless the visit is booked specifically for shampooing, and strollers cannot be brought inside. Clients who are sick, or whose children are sick, are asked to reschedule. Clients who arrive more than five minutes late for an appointment need to rebook.
The salon aims to give families a quick, pleasant haircut and a caring setting where both the child and the parent feel at ease.
