Kids Fun Cuts

The salon has two locations. The Chino studio is in Suite H at 5536 Philadelphia St., next to Shakey's, and the Rancho Cucamonga studio is in Suite F at 9359 Foothill Blvd., next to Chuck E. Cheese. Both can be reached at (909) 600-5356. Bookings are required. Tuesday through Friday hours run from 10 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a lunch closure from 1 PM to 2 PM on both, and the salon is closed on Mondays and major holidays.

A visit is built around children. The play area has a soft play playground and toys, kids can watch shows or movies, play on an Xbox or an iPad, or blow bubbles, and each child receives a balloon and candy. The chairs are colorful car-style seats with TVs available during the cut. Parents decide what their child may do during the haircut. To keep things moving, parents should remove styling products from the hair before the visit, since a shampoo may otherwise be needed and extra time added. Children should arrive without tangles, and the salon may decline service if the tangles are more than simple to work out. Detangling is not offered. Every booking needs a credit card on file.

Ear piercing is offered for kids, babies and adults and is free with the purchase of any pair of earrings. The salon uses a sterile system with special sterile earrings and a quiet piercing device. According to the salon, piercings are done by licensed cosmetologists trained in infection control and universal precautions.

Memberships cost $30 for six months and include 35% off hair products, along with a discounted $21 member haircut and $25 family haircuts for members. Memberships can be cancelled at any time, with a prorated refund after discounts are subtracted. Non-members pay $31 for a 20-minute children's haircut. Paying with cash takes $1 off haircuts, and stylists can talk through a rebooking discount with clients. Since February 1, 2026, a $5 surcharge applies to each service booked on a Saturday or Sunday.

The first haircut certificate costs $20 and is meant for a child's first cut. It includes a 10-inch colored frame, before and after photos, a certificate, and a lock of the child's hair tied with a ribbon. The salon describes itself as the area's premier salon for children, and says it offers haircuts and ear piercings at the very best prices and the highest quality haircuts; these are the salon's own claims.

The salon is set up for children, with the play area, screens and car-style chairs designed to keep kids comfortable, and parents are in charge of what happens during the cut.
