Structure gel extensions use Gel-X, lower forms or dual forms, chosen by nail type and condition. They start at $90 and take 90 minutes or more, and later visits need only refills. A combo service starts at $135 and takes 150 minutes or more. Men's service, starting at $50 and taking 90 minutes or more, covers manicure, pedicure, callus removal and a spa treatment. Kids or teens under 17 start at $55. Repairs start at $3 and take 25 minutes or more. Nail designs can be added for $5 or more and are chosen on the day.
The Models service is offered on Sundays only, from a waitlist, for new clients. It starts at $30 and takes 90 minutes or more. Models arrive with a fresh manicure and no nails or gel on, since the service uses a standard setup for technician practice. The mani and pedi spa treatments include paraffin wax, a jelly treatment, moisturizer socks, mask gloves, a hydrojelly mask and bubbly lotion.
Every booking requires a payment card to be kept on file, along with a minimum deposit. Adjustments made through the online booking system at least 12 hours beforehand carry no fee, whereas those made closer to the time incur the entire balance of the service. Turning up 15 minutes after the start time results in the appointment being moved, and the full price of the reserved service is charged. In-store Buy Now, Pay Later is offered for appointments priced between $50 and $4,000, provided approval is granted before the visit.
Nail products are sold online at kiarabarnesbeauty.com, including press-on nails, gel, base and top coats, and nail brushes. The salon states that its products are TPO free, HEMA free, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free and not tested on animals. According to the salon, its top coat lasts up to 14 to 21 days without chipping. Online shipping is free in the US and Canada on orders of $99 or more.
