KGuapa Nails is a Lakeland salon located on the second floor at 1035 South Florida Avenue, Suite 208. The salon is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday.

The salon was built around nail care that aims to be easier on the nail and skin. Its stated core value is healthier service through gentle manicuring techniques, sterilized tools and quality products. Kelly Guapacha, the nail care specialist, has worked in the industry since 2013, including five years in a standard salon before taking on the specialist role.

The Signature Pedicure, from $50, covers polish removal, clipping, filing, buffing, heel care and exfoliation of the legs and feet, followed by a massage with raw shea butter and hot towels, and ends with polish and cuticle oil. The Deluxe Pedicure, from $65, starts with a scent the client chooses and adds a sugar scrub, a mud mask and a massage butter before the finish. Both usually take an hour or more.

Builder Gel manicures are offered in the Russian Manicure style, with separate pricing for short to medium nails from $90 and long nails from $105. Each visit includes removal of old color or product, shaping, a cuticle cleaning technique, structure gel and color, cuticle oil, shea butter hand moisturizing and hot towels. Allow roughly two and a half hours for short to medium nails and closer to two hours and forty minutes for long nails.

First-time clients start with a New Client Appointment from $20, which takes about five minutes or more and requires a new client deposit. Nail art is priced from $1 and depends on how intricate the design is. Repairs start at $10 and removal of product is $20. Repairs and removal of product applied elsewhere carry an extra charge for Builder Gel and pedicure services.
