KG Nail Sessions is a nail-only business on West North Avenue in Chicago. Its menu covers manicures and pedicures, including a combined mani and pedi session that starts at $85 and runs about two hours, along with enhancements such as overlays, acrylic sets, Gel X sets, PolyGel sets, hard gel sets and a classic French set.

Enhancements are priced from $45 for an overlay to $75 for a hard gel set. Gel X sets do not include fills, so the set is soaked off and a new one applied, and hard gel needs regular fills to keep up with new growth. Full sets and overlays are booked for two hours to leave time for nail art. Fills start at $45, and polish changes, soak off and file off, and nail repair are also offered. Repairs on work done by the nail artist are complimentary, while repairs on work done elsewhere are priced.

The business is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 AM to 8:30 PM, and Monday and Wednesday from 10 AM to 2:30 PM. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. No deposit is needed to book, and the preferred payment methods are cash or Zelle. Clients are asked to book every service they need at the same time, to send inspiration pictures ahead of a nail-art appointment, and to arrive on time, since there is a 10-minute grace period before an appointment is rescheduled. Cancellations should be made within 24 hours. A 30% fee applies to future bookings after a no-show, and repeated no-shows lead to being placed on a no-book list. Service durations are estimates, especially for nail designs.

Hygiene is handled with Barbicide solution, hospital-grade wipes and heat sterilization, applied to both equipment and the workstations. Fungal nail conditions are outside what the salon offers: they require medical treatment, so the salon does not perform services on fungal nails and will not build or reconstruct over them.

Each client receives one-on-one service tailored to them, using high-quality nail products.
