Kevin Jacob Salon

Kevin Jacob Salon opened in 2018 at 040 Old Country Rd in Plainview. Alongside the salon, the business runs an online shop selling haircare products and styling tools.

The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Mondays by appointment only. The online range is grouped into four collections: finishing and shine, repair and treatment, color care, and tools and brushes.

The products are the same ones used in the salon, including a 1-inch ceramic styling iron and a round brush blowout set in the sizes used at the chair. Finishing oils, gloss masks and sprays are meant as the final steps of a service.

Online orders have free shipping with no minimum spend, and checkout adds no sales tax. Orders ship within one to three business days depending on the item, and standard delivery usually takes five to seven business days after dispatch. Every order includes tracking, and the business will look into a tracking scan that stalls for more than three business days.

Unopened haircare with an intact seal can be returned within 30 days of delivery, with the customer paying return shipping. Opened haircare returned for an adverse skin or scalp reaction must be reported within 14 days with a photo and description, and the business covers return shipping in that case. Unused tools in original packaging that have not been powered on can also be returned.

Sells haircare and tools that are the same as those used at the salon chair.
