Kendyll X Kalon runs two salons in central Ohio: Kalon Powell on West Olentangy Street and Kalon Worthington on West Dublin Granville Road. Color, haircuts and extensions make up most of the menu, and several add-on treatments can be booked alongside them.

Kendyll Trejo owns the salon and works as a stylist. Her work centers on tailored blonding, refined foiling and extensions, and she has worked with a range of extension methods and brands over her career.

Tape Row is the only extension method the salon uses. Extension clients start with a one-on-one in-person consultation, which the salon arranges by contacting them within 48 hours. New guests begin with a first-steps appointment and return about every six weeks. A deposit holds a Tape Row appointment, and the balance is due at the install. Length and volume are priced by row, and maintenance for two or more rows is a 1.5 hour visit. The salon describes Tape Row as delivering the best quality, wearability and results; that is the salon's own claim.

Color is organized around three foil coverage levels. The Mini places foils along the front hairline and part line and takes about 2 hours 30 minutes. The Partial adds the crown, part line and front hairline from the ears up, leaving out the nape, and takes about 2 hours 45 minutes. The Full covers the whole head from nape to hairline and takes three or more hours. Toning and root shadow services can be added on.

Clients book by text or through the online scheduling page. Prices shown online are starting prices and may change without notice. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours carry a $50 per hour fee charged to the card on file, and any outstanding cancellation fees must be paid before a new appointment can be booked. Major credit cards and exact cash are accepted; checks and Venmo are not. Monday and Wednesday hours vary by location.
