Waterless services replace the usual soak with warm towels, oils, homemade scrubs and clean lotions. The studio says a waterless pedicure can save up to 15 gallons of water per treatment, and it describes itself as anything but a typical nail salon. It aims to be as green as possible and works with sustainability experts.

Each visit begins with a complimentary cup of organic loose leaf tea, sparkling water or filtered water. Clients are asked to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early, wash their hands on arrival, and bring their own flip flops for pedicures instead of single-use sandals.

The studio gives back through local non-profit partners, including a DC Metro-area diaper-need organization for which keen is a drop-off location.

The studio works without water-based soaks and uses vegan, fragrance-free treatment products, with grape seed oil in place of nut oils.
