Kayla's Artistry is a permanent makeup and brow studio run by owner Kayla Mitchell. The main studio is a ground-floor suite in a complex of double-story buildings in Roseville, with free parking in the lot. The menu covers permanent makeup (microblading, powder brows, combo brows, new sets, touch-ups and corrective work), brow sculpting, men's brow shaping, brow lamination and tinting, lip waxing, and Korean lash lifts with or without tint. Several services can be combined, and a Double Dip bundle pairs a Korean lash lift with a brow lamination, tint or sculpt for a discounted price.

Before any permanent makeup appointment, clients who have had work done elsewhere book a consult for approval, and first permanent makeup visits are either a new set or a corrective service, since touch-ups are reserved for existing clients. Permanent makeup clients must be 18 or older. Consults are 25 dollars for 15 minutes and do not include designing or mapping; the consult fee does not count toward a service.

Deposits are due at booking: 150 dollars for permanent makeup and 50 percent for other services, both nonrefundable, with the non-permanent deposit applied to the service cost. Gratuity is built into pricing. Clients may bring one guest, children are not allowed, and first-time visitors are asked to arrive early to allow time for traffic and finding the suite. Roseville hours are Tuesday through Friday 10am to 4pm, plus every other Saturday 9am to 1pm.

The studio describes its permanent makeup as natural and low maintenance, though not maintenance-free. It aims to stay close to a client's existing brow shape and to use as much of the natural hair as possible. Clients may bring at least two photos for inspiration, and pigment color is chosen from the natural brow hair and skin undertones and agreed on before any work begins.
