Bookings are made through the studio's Square page and require a $50 deposit that cannot be refunded; the deposit is credited toward the final total. The full street address is sent 24 hours before a confirmed appointment. Guests have a 15-minute grace period. Anyone arriving after that may be charged a $20 late fee or have the appointment moved to another time. Hair should come in clean, free of tangles and blown out straight, unless the client adds the Wash and Blow-Dry service.
Braiding and twists are done with a lightweight, tension-conscious technique. Several styles include the hair in the price, including Senegalese Twist, Soft Locs, Kinky Twist and Spring Twists, while others such as Goddess Braids, Crochet Braids and Goddess Locs ask clients to bring their own hair. Session lengths range from about 2 hours for cornrows to around 12 hours for microlocs, which may take two sessions.
Microlocs require a consultation before a new installation. The consultation takes about an hour and covers hair assessment, loc size, style and pricing. Existing microlocs can be retightened through the maintenance service, which starts at $180 and takes about 4 hours; the final price depends on new growth and the maintenance needed.
