Kayana Beauty is a privately run cosmetic and paramedical tattoo studio based in Claremont, California. It occupies a suite inside Phenix Salon Suites on West Arrow Highway. The studio has been taking on clients since 2008 and calls its own work cosmetic and corrective tattooing. Clients come from Claremont and nearby cities including Pomona, La Verne, San Dimas, Upland, Montclair, Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario, as well as from across the Inland Empire, Los Angeles County and Southern California. Every visit is by appointment only and takes place one-on-one in a private studio. Booking starts with choosing a service, followed by a personal consultation before any procedure. Each appointment begins with an assessment, and treatment plans take into account facial structure, skin characteristics, existing pigment, lifestyle and long-term goals. Appointments are spaced out so the studio can prepare and sanitize between clients. Single-use tools and disposable supplies are used for every procedure, with sterile needles and pigment containers for each client and visit, and the studio uses non-toxic pigments.

Brow work is the studio's main focus. Microblading, nano brows, powder brows and combination approaches are offered, but none is booked as a standalone service; the technique is chosen during the appointment. A custom brow session includes mapping and designing the shape, and pigment is placed only after the client approves that shape. A professional-grade numbing agent is applied before and during the procedure. Flaking lasts about 7 to 14 days, and the final color typically shows around 6 to 8 weeks after the session. A separate Perfection and Refinement Session is scheduled 6 to 10 weeks after the first visit. A Color Boost must be completed within 2 to 6 months of the initial session and is not included in the initial price. The studio says brow results may last one to two years or more, depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.

Scar and stretch mark work comes in two forms. Inkless stretch mark revision uses cosmetic needling without pigment to address the look of texture, tone and visibility. Camouflage uses custom pigment to blend mature, stable scars or stretch marks with the surrounding skin, focusing mainly on color and blending rather than texture. Scar revision is an inkless approach for scars that suit it. Each area is evaluated for age, color difference, texture, visibility, size, location and skin characteristics before a method is chosen. This is cosmetic work and does not treat or cure medical skin conditions, and the number of sessions depends on the area treated.

Freckle tattoos can range from a light scattering to a more noticeable freckled look, placed across the nose and cheeks or on areas such as the shoulders and collarbones. Volume options are Light (up to 50 freckles), Medium (51 to 100) and Heavy (101 to 150 or more). Beauty mark tattoos add a single mark in a spot the client chooses. Both fade gradually and may need touch-ups. Tattoo removal is non-laser: eyebrow removal uses PhiRemoval glycolic acid, and body tattoo removal is available for eligible tattoos, with pricing based on size, pigment, placement and suitability. Emergency removal may be possible within 48 hours of a new tattoo, subject to assessment. Most removals take two or more sessions, and complete pigment removal cannot be guaranteed.

Studio hours are Monday to Friday 10:30am to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am to 4pm, and the studio is closed on major holidays. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit secures each appointment and is applied to the total, with the balance due at the visit. One reschedule with at least 72 hours notice is free; further changes carry a $75 fee. Changes within 72 hours forfeit the deposit, and changes within 24 hours also incur a charge of half the remaining balance. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be rescheduled or cancelled for the day, and no-shows are charged the full service balance. All services and sales are final. Minors are not permitted in the studio, and service dogs with ID are allowed. The front door is locked, so clients text 323.812.8738 on arrival. Cash, Zelle, Venmo, credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.

Plans are tailored to each client's features, skin and goals, with precision aimed at natural-looking, balanced results. The studio does not guarantee outcomes, and healing and results vary by service and person.
