Kay Ave describes its approach as considering both the external and internal factors that affect the skin and a person's overall wellbeing. Treatments are holistic, and the staff are licensed. The studio focuses on full cleansing and revitalization of the skin, and products are selected to match each client's skin type and needs.

Booking requires a $40 deposit, which is non-refundable and due within 30 minutes of booking. Deposits can be paid through CashApp or Zelle, and if CashApp is unavailable the booking can still go ahead through Zelle. The remaining balance is paid at the time of the session. Clients who have not completed the consultation form should arrive 10 minutes early. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and a no-show forfeits the deposit and requires a new one for the next appointment.

Only the client is allowed in the treatment room. For exceptions, such as bringing a child, clients should contact the studio before the appointment.
