KatiaNailedIt opened in 2019 and operates as a private studio in San Leandro. Katia, the manicurist behind it, focuses on structured gel manicures that work with the natural nail, so extensions are not always used. The studio states that its appointments and services center on natural nail care without extensions.

Visits are by appointment only. Clients can book online up to 30 days ahead, and a card is kept on file, charged only if the cancellation policy is breached. Changes or cancellations can be made online up to 48 hours before the start time; shorter notice is charged at 50% of the booked services and under 24 hours at 100%. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late are cancelled with a full charge, and no-call, no-show bookings are charged in full and bar future booking. Clients who have booked three appointments in a row can prebook their next visit in the salon. Clients are asked to come alone and on time, and to text before leaving the car if they arrive early. New clients should arrive with bare nails. Acrylic and dip powder are not removed, and nails with fungus, raw or bleeding cuticles, or exposed nail beds are not serviced.

The menu includes dry manicures with e-file cuticle care, gel removal manicures, and structured gel manicures with a choice of tinted base gels or gel polish colors. Nail art comes in four tiers, from simple designs on all ten nails through chrome or French tips, hand-drawn designs with added chrome, outlining or texture, and intricate multi-color or textured designs on each nail. Dry pedicures include toenail trimming and shaping, cuticle and callus work with an electric file, and a light foot massage, with optional advanced care, solid color gel, or French tips. Overtime add-ons are also available.

The studio is on Estudillo Avenue in San Leandro. Street parking carries a two-hour limit until 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and unlimited parking is available one street over on Joaquin Avenue. The suite is not wheelchair accessible, as about four steps lead to the door. Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm; the studio is closed Sunday and Monday. The studio is gratuity free. Card payments (Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, Apple Pay) are preferred, and cash is also accepted.
