Kathleen Collingwood Studio

Kathleen Collingwood Studio is a private hair studio at 670 Meridian Way in Westerville, Ohio. Guests come from Westerville and nearby areas, including New Albany, Powell, Dublin, Lewis Center and Worthington, as well as the wider Columbus area.

The studio is run by its owner, Kathleen Collingwood, a hair colorist with 15 years of experience helping women with their color. Visits are one-on-one, so the studio works with a single guest at a time and does not allow additional visitors or children at appointments.

The menu is built around color. Color Retouch refreshes new growth at the roots to keep color even between appointments. Partial foil places highlights, lowlights or both through the top and around the face, and full foil runs them throughout the hair for blonding, dimensional brunette color and gray blending. Gloss adjusts tone, softens brassiness and unwanted warmth, and adds shine, and a root smudge with gloss softens the line between natural root and highlighted hair. Precision haircuts and styling are also offered, and color appointments for both new and existing guests include a customized cut and finished style.

New guests start with an in-depth consultation where color history, current hair and maintenance goals are reviewed. After submitting the new guest form, guests receive an email with available dates within 8 to 12 hours on weekdays, and offered dates are held for 24 hours. Prospective guests can also chat with the studio before booking.

Services are tailored to each guest, and a color plan built around dimensional color and gray blending is meant to keep color consistent over time. The studio works only with ingredient-conscious professional products.
