Kate Owens owns and runs the salon. She began her styling career in 2000 in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she trained and became familiar with Paul Mitchell products, and later moved to Florida to work at her aunt's barbershop, where she learned men's grooming. The salon has offered services in Bonita Springs for a long time and welcomes men and women, with guests coming from Estero, Naples, North Naples, Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Coconut Point and surrounding Southwest Florida communities.

About

Hair color is a core strength. Services include base color with a cut and blowout, full and partial highlights, balayage, toners, glosses and glazes, retouches, and creative and corrective color, with Olaplex options available on many color services. Stylists work with each client to understand their hair's natural qualities, take time to learn their goals, and recommend care for their hair, including guidance on keeping hair healthy at home.

The salon is a Sensory Safe Salon and Spa, and its team is trained and certified through that program. Sensory cuts are offered by appointment only for people with autism spectrum disorder, SPD, or other disabilities or special abilities, and the salon offers free haircuts to guests in those groups. Clients can also sponsor a sensory cut for a family or individual in need for a $39 donation.

Weddings and special occasions are a large part of the menu. The wedding offerings cover bridal hair trials, makeup trials, bridesmaid, junior bridesmaid and flower girl hair and makeup, day-of hair and touch-ups, and a 50% deposit is required to secure a wedding date and is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled. Special event upstyles, prom styles and special event makeup are also available. Hair treatments include Brazilian Blowout, keratin, perms, Olaplex, and several luxury conditioning options. Pricing is subject to change without notice, quotes are available on request, extra fees may apply when additional work or time is needed, and a $50 early start fee applies if a stylist must begin before the booked time.

Kate's Suites, the salon's suite space, rents to professional hairdressers who have their own clients and to beauty professionals whose services complement the salon's. Nail services, including pedicures and a gel-type polish that does not need UV light, are offered there.

Stylists learn what each client's hair does naturally and recommend care that suits it, and the salon takes time to understand each client's goals and teach healthy hair habits.

The salon describes its setting as fun, lively, entertaining and social.
