The salon describes its approach as holistic, starting with hair and scalp health, and says it chooses clean, non-toxic products. The salon is an Innersense Salon, using Innersense products at the backbar and for take-home recommendations.

The team is made up of commission-based stylists. Cut and color pricing is set by hourly rate and is not influenced by gender, and the price is discussed before a session. New clients are welcome. Walk-ins are not accepted for regular appointments but are accepted for consultations, and a consultation is required before hair extensions. Cancellations or rescheduling requests are due 48 hours in advance, and cancelling within 48 hours is charged 100% of the service cost.

Peek-a-boo K-tip extensions add hidden color under the top layers, with keratin bonds placed strand by strand, and they last about 3 to 5 months. If two blowouts are missed in a row, one may be gifted or transferred to a friend.

The salon sells mini Desert Jewel mural prints from a vending machine and artwork by Ma Blue Art, which it describes as the only in-person US location to buy her pieces.
