Gel work covers full sets in solid colors, chrome, bling and tingz, or designs and patterns, as well as fill-ins for returning clients and overlays that use hard gel over natural nails. Simple art includes ombre, marble, abstract, cat eye and blooming gel. More complex options include 3D work, encapsulations and multi-layered designs. The Karmastyle Freestyle service gives the technician full creative scope. Gel set length is measured with magnets, with short, medium and long each defined by a number of magnets.
Booking can be made from 12 hours up to 30 days ahead. Rescheduling and cancellations made at least 2 hours before the appointment are free, using a link in the confirmation email. Cancellations within 2 hours carry a $15 fee. There is a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals; arrivals later than that may be rescheduled and incur a $15 penalty. A no-call, no-show brings a $25 fee and a ban from future services. Completed and paid services are not refunded. Free repairs are offered within the first week if a client is unhappy with a set. Fill-ins are for current clients, 3 to 4 weeks after the last service. Anything after 4 weeks is treated as a rebalance requiring a new full set.
The Student/Teacher Special is open to K-12 and college students and to teachers, with ID required. It includes a gel set in one solid color, with a choice of shape and length. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:55 pm; the business is closed Sunday and Monday.
Each client has a one-on-one appointment, and every service starts with hand hygiene, frequent disinfecting of high-touch surfaces, and clean or new instruments.
