Color is the center of the menu. Kara works in lived-in color, including hand-painted balayage for soft dimension, foilyage that blends balayage with foils for a lighter blonde, full and partial highlights, money piece and face-framing foils, glosses for tone and shine, and root retouches for grey coverage. Haircuts for women and men, blowouts after a shampoo, and textured bob cuts round out the hair services.

Hand-tied extensions are offered with a consultation, per-row installation, row move-ups (the site recommends these every six to eight weeks) and removal. Treatments include a Brazilian blowout smoothing service, a K18 repair treatment, and a deep conditioning treatment. Brow waxing and bang trims are also available, and returning guests receive complimentary bang trims between appointments.

Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person and for bookings between $50 and $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.

Kara's stated aim is for each guest to leave the chair feeling confident and pleased with how they look. The studio focuses on color and cut work that suits the individual.
