Kanekoklawz

Kanekoklawz was opened by Tylee Kaneko after completing nail school and becoming licensed. Tylee became officially licensed in February 2026, and the business grew out of that training.

The menu is built around nail enhancements. Hard builder gel sets start at $50 and usually take two hours or more. Hard gel fills, also starting at $50, run longer, around two and a quarter hours or more. Gel-X sets start at $55 and take two hours or more. Removal and soak off cost $10 and take about 45 minutes. Hard gel fills are available once a client has had a first builder or hard gel appointment, and the business recommends booking a fill every three to four weeks to help keep the nails from lifting. Clients who already wear Gel-X are asked to add a soak off to their booking.

Nail art is priced by how many fingers are decorated. Tier One covers one or two nails with designs such as solid chrome, cat eye or solid color. Tier Two covers three or four fingers with hand-painted work, including French tips, polka dots, stripes and blooming gel. Tier Three covers five to seven fingers, and Tier Four covers seven to ten. French tips do not count toward the tier, and charms only count as art when the nail is fully decorated with embellishments. Bookings are made through the Glossgenius page. Appointments can be cancelled for free more than 24 hours ahead. Cancellations inside 24 hours require contacting the owner personally and are charged 25 percent of the service, and no-call no-shows are charged the full service amount. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment.
