Kairos nail salon

Kairos sits on Old Country Road in Riverhead and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and Monday from 9 am to 5 pm. It is closed on Sundays. Clients can call or email the salon to ask questions or change an appointment.

Acrylic nail sets are booked only through the online appointment system, and online booking requires a card on file but no deposit. Walk-ins are taken for some services when the schedule allows, though booking is recommended. Nail designs start at $3 per nail. List prices assume a two-week retention, so a set kept longer than two weeks may cost more.

The salon asks clients to keep to their appointment times. Changes are made by phone at least 24 hours ahead. A non-refundable no-show fee applies if a client has not arrived within 10 minutes and has not called, and a flat $40 fee applies to calls made on the day of an appointment. Cancelling on the day means paying the full service charge. Cash is preferred, and card payments carry a 4% fee.
