Time is booked in generous blocks so each style can be finished without rushing. A visit begins with a consultation on the look the client wants, moves into preparation, and ends with a photo of the finished style. Clients have the studio to themselves for their whole appointment, and tea is offered on arrival. The room has refined seating, warm lighting and curated playlists.

Booking is by appointment only. Slots open a few weeks in advance and tend to fill quickly. A $30 deposit secures a time and is applied to the final balance. Prices are listed openly with no upsells and no hidden fees. Late arrivals have a 15-minute grace period. Most weeks have fewer than 12 appointments, and booking for a given week closes during that same week.

The online booking flow lets clients choose size, length, color and add-ons before they arrive. An online style consultation is also available and looks at face shape, length and volume. Box Braids come in sizes from XX-Small to Large, and Knotless Braids from X-Small to Jumbo.

For longevity, the salon typically suggests rebooking Stitch Braids and Cornrows every 2 to 4 weeks and other braid styles every 4 to 6 weeks. It advises against keeping a protective style in for more than 8 weeks, and suggests a touch-up after 3 weeks if braids are meant to last up to 6 weeks. Stylists join through an invitation-based collective with limited openings. Kairo Beauty Rewards is available to eligible clients, including Streak Rewards, which gives 10% off the sixth appointment after six appointments within a 12-month period.
